MANGO MOUSSE

Summer treat that is made with summer fruit ‘Mangoes’ will certainly attract you towards it as it is light and airy with freshness of the mint that balances the flavour and your pallet taste.

Mangoes and mint both are fresh ingredients and they combine well with each other.

I remember, spending time with my grand parents every summer holidays where mangoes were the fruit of the season and my grand parents loved eating them . Looking at them made me try the mangoes and I fell in love with them. So, I wanted to create a glass dessert which included mangoes as the main ingredient and converted it to a mousse.

This is a very simply recipe to try out and I am sure of the fact that you can’t resist it. So, why not go and try this recipe and do let me know if you enjoyed making this and eating it as if did

INGREDIENTS

  1. 4 no. Mangoes

  2. 300 grms Milkmaid

  3. 2 tsp Gelatin

  4. ¼ cup cold water

  5. 1 ½ cups Whipping cream

  6. Mint – for garnish

PROCEDURE

  1. Peel mangoes and blend them till pureed.

  2. In a small bowl, mix gelatin and water and let it stand for a while.

  3. Add in the gelatin mixture to the mango puree and blend again till all combined.

  4. Add in milkmaid and blend further till smooth and everything is combined.

  5. In a bowl beat whipping cream till medium peaks.

  6. Add the mango puree mixture to the whipped cream and mix till just combined.

  7. Pour in glasses and garnish with chopped mangoes and mint.

  8. Set for one hour or for half an hour in fridge and then serve.

  9. Mango mousse is ready!
